They really do have so much and are very good at getting you accurate and beautiful costumes. We needed 4 S.S. Female WW2 guard costumes, and 5 prisoner concentration camp costumes. Ari made our experience so smooth and easy to work with. We are a small theatre company in need of military uniforms for a production. This is truly as good as it gets! Before coming to Hit and Run we had searched ALL of New York for costumes to fit our WW2 film. Ari went out of his way to accommodate us in every way! Truly spectacular and friendly service! Ari is one of the most dedicated hardworking in the industry and we could not have made it without him and his extensive knowledge!

Hit and Run saved me on a hellish ad campaign! On the last day of the shoot they decided to cast a commercial airline pilot who was 6'3 with extra long arms. We were shooting at Steiner Studios in the navy yard and I needed the outfit that day! I called. Left a voicemail and Ari called me right back. He couldn't have been nicer. He texted me photos of what he had that matched my brief, helped me pick colors, helped me with sizing and also hooked me up with options for a good price. Mostly he was easy and pleasant to deal with, which is surprisingly rare in this business. Give him a call and he will definitely let you know if he has what you're looking for.

Hit and Run productions saved my shoot! I came to NYC from California. They had some 16mm equipment that I couldn't find available for rental anywhere. Ari was also able to provide other accessories and include it in the price. He was super flexible. My shoot was very dependent on the weather and he let me keep the equipment for a few extra days without charging me. He was also super flexible about timing, I was able to return it on a Sunday right before my flight. This was such a great experience!

I was truly impressed by the knowledge and expertise of Ari Taub / Hit and Run Productions. I couldn't believe how much time Ari took out to send me photos of items I was interested in and answer any questions / concerns I had about the items. After going there in person, I was further impressed with their extensive collection. Ari really makes his customers a top priority.
